The Ivy may be known for its famous clientèle and terrible food, but are they taking this celebrity thing a bit too far? The club has invited Mark Pinchin, Public Affairs Director of the Church of Scientology, to speak at the end of the month. Scientology boasts more celebrity supporters than Hacked Off, and are always on the look out for new members. Stars and groupies, you have been warned.

The church of scientology boasts a lot of things that are complete nonsense. Ok so there are some celebrities but according to census results in the UK, Australia and the USA even there are many times more Jedi than scientologists.

Not only are the beliefs of scientology nonsense but the church of scientology is a money grabbing destroyer of people, families and relationships.

“Scientology boasts more celebrity supporters than Hacked Off”… well, that’s according to Co$ of course. Best guess from well-informed people is that there is – at most – 40,000 Scientologists left. Not quite the millions Co$ sprouts.

So who are these celebrity supporters, apart from Tom “I know, but you don’t” Crooze, the very silent Travolta, Anne “way past my prime, but HOW DARE YOU” Archer, Kirstie “Let me show you how Scientology helped me lose one gram” Alley.

Wow, the Co$ success stories just go on and on, right back 75 million years ago when Xenu was defeated.

Minchin was supposed to be on Victoria Derbyshire’s show on Radio 5 Live a couple of weeks ago ….. didn’t show! He won’t show here either. It’s impossible for any any church member to appear in public in case they get asked a real question about their cult [their drug front Narconon getting shut down all over America for example] without lying….. guarantee this ain’t gonna happen.

There’s not a lot of variety in what one has to say as the Public Affairs Director of the Church of Scientology. Basically just keep stating that Scientology can solve everyone’s problems (without ever explaining exactly how), and when asked inconvenient questions about Scientology’s many documented lies, scams and abuses, just deny everything and attribute all the negative press to “heretics” and “suppressives”.
