I met Pete in the bar of the Barrowlands concert hall a good while ago. You might be surprised by this but Pete was previously the keyboards player with the bands Big Country then Runrig before leaving for a career in politics. I met him just after he’d left Runrig and he was at the Barrowlands gig as an ordinary punter.

He was a great keyboards player and probably still is a very nice person. Pity he is wasting his talents with the separatists!

I’m surprised he hasn’t nominated “The Rough Guide to Edinburgh”. No doubt the SNP will have 650 copies to distribute, in anticipation of the Troughers moving up there during the de-infestation of the Westminster branch.
The blurb says it has excellent coverage of the Gay scene there; which will be of particular interest to many.
