After Obama sanctioned attacks on ISIS over the weekend, a new hashtag began to trend on Twitter  – #AmessagefromISIStoUS. Via social media, militants from the Islamic State began to threaten anyone who dared to get involved in the Middle East. Before long, the backlash began, with Americans sending messages back to jihadis under the hashtag #AmessagefromUStoISIS. The ex-Tory MP Louise Mensch couldn’t resist, and duly joined in this hawkish exchange:

But will it have been enough to persuade Al Baghdadi to ditch those extra pounds via the ‘ISIS diet’?

I agree with Mensch, this loser needs a shave, a diet, new clothes, and a personality transplant. Or, a snug-fitting pine box.

Way to go Louise – Don’t let all this attention get to your head, LOL!!

  • Adrian Wainer

Louse Mensch is a publicity seeking windbag.

  • Lamia

Sean O’Neill demonstrates the moral priorities of the ‘anti-imperialist’ left: committing genocide pales besides a Tory mocking a genocidal butcher for their size.

That’s not moral high ground, it’s moral la-la land.

  • andy_gill

Good for Louise. The tweeting jihadis really need to be reminded that they are viewed as contemptible trash, laughable dickheads following a lunatic prophet.

  • WinstonCDN

    I like Louise

    • pewkatchoo

I quite fancy her too! Ouch, sorry dear.

  • Bonkim

Utter Rubbish. Social media should be forced to take terrorist organisations off the cyberspace and British MPs should know better than to give the oxygen of publicity to this evil lot. All publicity including the anti-messages is good publicity.

  • Chingford Man

I’m with smithersjones2013 on this. Getting into a Twitter spat with people as dangerous as ISIS seems to be a very bad idea indeed. The ISIS crowd can use Twitter as easily as I can.

Mensch doesn’t know what maniac might take the deepest offence at her tweets and decide to do something about it. Does she want to live with a panic button and bomb-proof windows? Is it worth it to be a hero to all your followers?

I thought we had reached the nadir of Twitter stupidity with Sally Bercow but apparently there are still levels to go.

  • Conniption Fitz

@LouiseMensch, I hope that inevitable American Muzzle the wannabe caliph faces has a female of Jewish or Kurdish descent holding it.

  • CO’Brien

She’s not an American, so why is she sending messages on behalf of the US?

    • RaymondDance

      She’s married to an American.

      • Adrian Wainer

        She’s a prog.

        • RaymondDance

What is a ‘prog’. Do you mean ‘prog rocker’?

  • Lydia Robinson

He’s good at FATwahs. Boom, tish!

  • goatmince

Is it me or has this particular individual chosen to take the Sally B path in life?

  • Aldabaran

You don’t deal effectively with a very dangerous enemy by making infantile jokes about him. If the Western world thinks al Baghdadi is a hoot, it has something horrible in store for it.

    • Terry Field

Please expand on your suggestion – what does the west have in store for it from this chappie?

      • Aldabaran

Some very nasty surprises indeed if his ideology takes root among Muslims in the West. And very nasty surprises in the Middle East and Mediterranean if his state continues to exist and grow.

        • Right-Minded

I think a few air strikes should do the trick – without even laying a foot on the ground I’m sure we can take a few clowns with AK’s and 4×4’s.

          • Aldabaran

Just like we did in Aghanistan. Here’s hoping.

            • Bonkim

Yes as in Afghanistan and 14 years later. And in Iraq over a decade later. May be we can use ISIS territory as training ground with live ammo for NATO for the next 25 years or more assuming NATO lasts that long.

    • Titty O’Shea

I think making juvenile jokes about a fat fascist scumbag like this is perfectly acceptable. People did it about Mussolini and Hitler

  • Yorkieeye

Good on her! I think ridicule is a much under valued weapon

    • Aldabaran

You think it makes a blind bit of difference in this case except for perhaps making us more complacent about the threat?

      • Alexsandr

I think you can be very focused on a threat and still ridicule it.

People were very focused on Nasis in the war, but were quite willing to sing songs about Hitler being monorchidacious,
        (He wasnt by the way)

    • Kennybhoy

    • Bonkim

All publicity even the bad ones is good publicity in politics. Ridicule by a Kafir woman is praise in heaven.

      • kyalami

Dream on, Bonkers. There’s no praise in heaven for the murderous ISIS scum.

    • BlameHoffman

If so, people like you should be ridiculed more for believing in left and right.

    • BlameHoffman

  • madasafish

Who is Louise Mensch? Is she another grade five celeb I have never heard of?

    Oh, she’s an ex MP..

    Not worth listening to then…

  • agneau

Is this the quality of writing in her books? Bitches?

  • Diggery Whiggery

Why does the media insist on presenting this woman’s tweets as if they’re of consequence. She was a decidedly mediocre MP with a pretty face who now lives in the states. Do we need to know her every waking tweet?

P.S. It wasn’t a Rolex, but never mind.

  • Ford Corsair

You go girl! Feminine laughter is a weapon:

“I have this fantasy that fills me with particular joy. I think of some cranky bearded cleric—say, Moqtada al-Sadr—spouting the usual anti-American, anti-Semitic bilge when suddenly the women in his mosque—laugh. Imagine that moment! All that Islamofascist hatred and resentment and grandiosity washed away in a torrent of feminine amusement and ridicule. How could the cleric’s hold over the imaginations, spirits and desires of his flock withstand the charisma of feminine laughter? ….[it] would reduce 90 percent of Islam’s ulema to pathetic old men in back-street mosques, preaching their misogynistic claptrap to ever-dwindling congregations.”

    • Right-Minded

That would be enjoyable – but it couldn’t happen in a mosque, I didn’t think women were allowed in?

    • 57thunderbird

Would be a lot of women’s heads on pikes.

  • Gwangi

    The Decap Diet! Love it!

  • Junis

ISIS=Israel. We Muslims are the good guys.

    • Gregory Mason

      Good one!

      My turn.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

      • pablo58

To go and get it’s head back? Because the little green man indicated that it was safe to do so? Hard to tell with those crazy chickens and their seemingly obsessive road crossing antics.

        • Gregory Mason

Unfortunately the road is rather busy and he appears to have waddled off which is a shame because I really wanted to know.

    • wimvincken

Ah! Here is another one. You see such i****s everywhere, not?
Talking like a chicken without head

    • Terry Field

    • Conniption Fitz

Anyone can see you are projecting. Islam is the way of death.

  • Smithersjones2013

Is she trying to out bovine Silly Bercow? Is she insane? Its one thing for a senior politician to condemn the actions of ISIS. It is wholly another for a lowly but visible ex wild child chiclit nobody to make herself and potentially her family a target for every Muslim extremist in the Western world.

I only hope her infantile taunts don’t drag her or her family into harms way

    #brainless #bimbo #nolosstowestminster

    • Alexsandr

I think standing up to and ridiculing these nutters is a good thing to do.
The abu Hamza jokes were a tonic.
laughing at a loony fat bloke in a dress. Marvelous.

      • Terry Field

The Peach Melbas have taken them on in Kurdistan. The Kurds are getting their Whey!!!!!!!

      • Smithersjones2013

        I think

On the basis of this comment the jury is still out on that one.

        ISIS is no laughing matter………..

        • pewkatchoo

Oh yes they are! Have you considered what these lunatics actually believe.

    • Dogzzz

Your are either a coward of the most vile supine kind, or you are a sympathiser of the child killing, women raping ISIS thugs yourself. Either way you are incredibly stupid for attacking her over this.

      • Smithersjones2013

Do you think the childish taunts of a western (no doubt nominally christian) woman are going to make them stop or in fact motivate them to rape and kill more you idiot? The likes of Mensch are a walking propaganda coup for ISIS in their world.

Putting aside your moronic insults, it is you who like Mensch is incredibly stupid! These people will not be stopped by infantile taunts on childish social media sites! Now do be a good little child and shut the f*** up and perhaps Mensch might do the same!

How to Convert to Islam – The Testimony of Faith (Shahada)

Becoming a Muslim is a simple and easy process. All that a person has to do is to say a sentence called the Testimony of Faith (Shahada), which is pronounced as:

I testify “La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad rasoolu Allah.”

          • Conniption Fitz

Islam is the way of death, war, oppression, misogyny, racism, hate, conflict, deception – there is a more excellent way of Jesus Christ, of love, truth and life.

            • Alexsandr

or realising all imaginary friends are false…

            • pewkatchoo

Or the way of the grand FSM. Eat pasta every day.

        • Alexsandr

If the men in black frocks think people are listening to their rants looking for something to satirise, they may just consider them a little more carefully.

        • pewkatchoo

Yeah, the grown-ups are really doing a bang-up job so far. Taunting and ridiculing these cretins is what we should be doing. Unless, of course, you are so scared of them that you would not say boo. Me, I cannot express the disgust I have for them and their fellow travellers, so I might as well just follow Ms Mensch and ridicule them. Is that a mouse I see hiding in mr Bozosdaddy’s beard. And I agree with Ms Mensch he really does look like he has been at the pork scratchings again.

    • Terry Field

      Jamba zingi!!!!!!

    • Penny Stewart

What is this maddness! Brave people who stand against cruel evil behaviour are blamed for the violence they are then threated with or subjected to. So we allow violent bigotry center stage and the voice of reason is cencered. Enough of this! All people who hold these opinions must be called out.

    • eclair

whats the matter with you? It takes courage to do it. Are we going to bow in the face of beastly murderous b@stards? Laughter will link us, fear divide us

  • evad666

Louise, you must realize black is so slimming especially when its a couture item.
Probably from a leading ME fashion house in qatar when he got his very expensive watch.

    • Terry Field

      Quatar MAss and the Twit.

  • Span Ows

She’s making herself a target so I suggest everyone on Twitter join her!

    • disqus_OGm7JtG0wT

      Well done?

Internet warriors are all the same. Very boring and stupid. While the Kurds get on with the real task of physically chinning these Loons, we sit here praising a fool like Louise Mensch for shouting fatty across the world via the internet.

      It is puerile crap

  • GUBU

We can all rest easy now.

No doubt tonight’s news reports will show the forces of ISIS in full retreat, recoiling in the face of Ms Mensch’s incisive twitter strikes.

    Who needs drones?

  • JP Janson De Couet

Maybe she could send him the phone number of her plastic surgeon?

    • obbo12

Nah the one that fixed Milibands adenoids would be better

  • Colonel Mustard

Frightening to think that this “lady” was once an MP.

    • Tom M

I was just about to wrtite something like that. That apart is this really a story worthy of the name?

    • Simon Fay

Our loss. And she looks like Thomas Dolby too. Complete package.

    • In2minds

But she did get elected, the Warsi woman did not!

  • MaxSceptic

    Obvious Islamophobia!

These kuffir women really should learn their place…. Perhaps Mehdi Hasan can advise us cattle how we should behave.

    • tom

brilliant, i cant wait for mehdi to preach some more wisdom about the kafir

    • Ian

What’s wrong with islamophobia? Haven’t you read the qu’ran?

    • disqus_OGm7JtG0wT

Its not islamophobia. it is just really fucking stupid.

She makes herself sound like a complete fool. Shouting fatty at ISIS leader while they slaughter and terrorise two nations? This country is a joke.

If she wants to help in any way she should be persuading the public and the government to give the Kurds more money (unlike the paltry sums suggested so far) who will actually get on with chinning ISIS.

However, she’ll probably come unstuck in her brain and begin cheering ISIS on when she realises that the Kurds, in spite of being secular and democratic are – horror of horror – actually incredibly socialist and promote gender equality. Something she detests.

The Kurds, fully armed and with Turkey off their backs could secularise and create equality in a huge area of the Middle East.

      • MaxSceptic

(aka: the sound of irony flying over your head).

      • MissDemeanor

and yet she still sounds more intelligent, than a whole load of garbage we have been hearing from our other politicians in the past 15 years..
