Olympic tourism update

Ah – so those miserable traders who everyone told to shut up were dead right, back in August. Britain received its smallest number of foreign tourists for almost a decade this summer, largely as a consequence of the Olympic Games, it is thought. The only recent year which saw fewer people visit our country was 2003 – the year we invaded Iraq, when everyone hated us and the Yanks. It may well be that foreigners refused to come this time because they were scared by reports of hordes of Brits dressed in purple tracksuits grinning manically at them at every tube and railway station and street corner. I think the tourists preferred it when we were just abusive or ignored them entirely, or gave them misdirections out of xenophobic spite. The silver lining, though, is that we fleeced the foreign mugs who did come over this year for more money than usual. And of course, as a consequence of the Games, we feel very good about ourselves.

    Good view.

  • Mr. Hear me, hear me

This just in… Rio defies race baiters. Bring it on Mr. Liddle. I want to engage. Come on, come on, come on.

    • Hear me etc…

Ah no, but really now. Come on. What do you say, you old fraud? Rio?

  • Cogito Ergosum

Thank goodness it’s all over, bar paying the bills. The sport freaks have been on a roll this summer, at my expense. Obviously all the sane people went elsewhere and just left them to it.

So a good time was had by “all”. No, not all, just the sport freaks, jollying at my expense. Anyone can have a good time on someone else’s money.

  • Robert Taggart

Oneself only visited for the one day – an Olympic Park and Orbit ticket only.
The day went well, but, being summer, being the ‘deep south’, the sun shining – after c.13.00 – it became slightly uncomfortable (muggy, sweaty – being a ‘porker’ does not help !).
Most staff at most places appeared to be native Brits, but, not native ‘sparrows’ ! For the most part they were unobstructive – not much in the way of help needed – one still knows our way round ‘the big smoke’. Only one Jobsworth encountered all day – on the Emirates Air Line – he would not allow one to stay on to do an uninterrupted round trip. He said it was too busy – it was – at the Royal Docks end (where one boarded), but, the North Greenwich end (where this occurred) – was relatively quiet. Guess he had the power and wanted to use it, TWAT.
The bar staff at the Gielgud Theatre ( Chariots of Fire – seemed appropriate !) were pleasantly apologetic – as with every other Lundun Theatre one has visited over the years – Pernod was not available ! A few Pimms made up for our disappointment !! I know the Pernod label says Paris Fils, but, Lundun did beat Paris to host the games – so why no magnanimity ?!!!
The most pleasant surprise of the day ? – the air conditioning (working) on one of the newer double-deckers ! It came as a great relief !!

Looking at one year makes no sense at all: one must look at tourist visits over a 3-5 year period, ditto with sales of ice cream and any other business activity dependent on the weather and events.
Probably tourism was down this year and will be up next thanks to the Olympics and the Royal Wedding PR.
What we need to do is try and get visitors to go to places outside London – an overrated hellhole in my experience (and I grew up near there and it is – or was – my home city). Lovely countryside in the UK – especially the west of England and Wales, but very few tourists.
London is really overrated – expensive, crime-ridden, overcrowded, dirty, takes ages to travel anywhere etc.

    • Sarah

Where exactly did you grow up, Eddie?

      • Sarah

Eddie grew up in a vat in Transylvania.

      • Eddie

Oh Sarah, do shut up you mad minandrist mentalist stalker bint. You try so very hard, but your posts are always so lacking in wit, imagination, and intelligence – typical feminist really. You constantly hiss and spit like a gas leak, love – but sadly, don’t follow it through like Sylvia Plath.
And where did you grow up dear (if indeed you have, which I doubt)? Inside Andrea Dworkin’s diseased putrid vulva? I hear it was rather big and echoey in there (apparently they held meetings there in the 70s, because it was the only place never visited by awful patriarchy…or any male, come to that…)
Haven’t you got a tablet to take dear? It might make you calm down, dear.
        Zzzzzzz…..

        • Sarah

I thought she was funny, Ed. But still, you haven’t answered the question. Where exactly did you grow up? Why are you afraid of telling? Simple question really. London was close enough to count as your home city. Strange way of putting it.

          • Eddie

I grew up in the real world on planet Earth love – unlike you Sarah the psycho stalker manhater, who grew up somewhere very strange no doubt…
Now you can answer my question: why do you hate men? Is it because you envy them their success and because blaming them for everything is a great way of your hiding your lack of talent and ability, and your consequent failure in life and your bitter disappointment and ending up a lonely shrivelled up old hag? A common cause of feminist misandry, that, love.

            • Geronimo

Ad hominem attacks. Nice one, Eddie – you are a true gent!

              • Eddie

Geronimo – look at your posts aimed at everyone here in which you call them names and accuse them to being a racist for not sharing your ill-thought-through opinions: they are the DEFINITION of ‘ad hominem’ attacks, and no doubt you have just learnt that Latin phrase on your first year of your Meeja studies degree at the university of former-polytechnic failur and pointlessness too.
                You Geronimo are a racist.
                Why?
Because you call all white Britons who object to large numbers of blacks and Asians coming into their home cities and taking them over, racists; yet you refuse to acknowledge that by that token the entire population of Africa and Asia is also racist.
And frankly, if you want to meet class-obsessed, homophobic, intolerant, racist, often-religious bigots, then try talking to some black of brown people – though I doubt very much if you have ever had to suffer in some inner city slum with them, you blancmanged-brained bollock-chewing numpty!
And you are a racist, unlike me.
                Twerp!

            • Sarah

Eddie that Sarah is not this Sarah. There are two of us who think you are a racist, misogynist, bitter nob end.

But I’M the the shrivelled hag/bint/psycho/lesbo/whore/man-hater/dear. Love.

    • Austin Barry

To misquote Dr Johnson, when a man is tired of London, he is right.

      • Eddie

Oh yes – and of course, many people live outside London in white-majority mugging-free areas and travel to London to work and enjoy the undoubted pleasures – museums, nightlife, restaurants, shopping etc.
Living in London when you have lots of money and live in a nice big house in Hampstead (as many leftwing socalled ‘liberals’ so, who just love the mass immigration because it brings in so many servants to clean their houses, care for their kids and to work for minium wage in the eateries they frequent) is not the same as living in a shitty tiny flat over the road from a council estate where even the police in pairs are frightened to go.
Too many people, too many incomers, too expensive property: this is London’s problem, and it was not always thus: in the 1970s a man who support a wife and kids on a single salary and buy a semi in London: those houses now cost half a million in nice areas. Madness! But hey, so long as the baby boomer ‘liberal’ hypocrites can coin in and have their nose in the trough, why should they care about the country they have ruined and the people they have impoverished, dispossessed and disenfranchised?

        • Geronimo

Eddie, you live in an echo chamber fuelled by too many Daily Mail articles. Give me some actual facts about what life is like in London, rather than sweeping generalisations you’ve picked up from reading Richard Littlejohn or Kelvin Mackenzie – although credit to you – you at least substituted Hampstead for Islington – but otherwise your analysis is lazy parroting of Littlejohn, or similar bigots. You’re so predictable, and I bet you haven’t been to London in a decade.

          • Eddie

Oh dear, you lose the argument:
This is Eddie’s law: any twerp who as their best attack against anyone they disagree with accuses them of being a ‘Daily Mail reader; has by definition lost the argument.
You are the bigot for not tolerating any diversity of opinion, you dunderheaded dullard hypocrite!
The Daily Mail is for women – who mostly vote Tory, and are always more judgemental and religious and risk-averse from men.
Now get back to wanking over photos of George Galloway son. You never know, one day he may choose to give you some, ahem, rispek.
            Innit?

            • Ridcully

I’ve thought for some time that an equivalent to “Godwin’s Law” needs to be framed, replacing references to Hitler and the Nazis by references to the Daily Mail and its readers.
I suppose “Eddie’s Law” would be as good a name as any.

      • Kevinc

Or as Anita Brookner paraphrased in the early 80s when London was well on its way to being a 4 star hellhole, When a man is tired of London, he is tired of London. By the way, does Rod no longer comment on the comments? I miss him calling someone a Retarted Mong, and suchlike.

  • Wilhelm

Here’s one story that didn’t get much attention in all the media gushing about the Olympics. British soldiers who were doing the security were abused verbally and attacked by the locals ( muslims ) and told to dress in civilian clothes, seems like anti white racist assaults .

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/olympics/9517417/Army-servicemen-were-attacked-verbally-abused-and-harassed-during-the-Olympics.html

    • WoodstockWastrel

Strange how that didn’t make it onto the news

      • sir_graphus

Strange because it’s made up, or strange because it was covered up?

        • WoodstockWastrel

Not necessarily covered up, more of an unwritten rule within the media to only cover racist attacks that are commited by whites.

        • blindsticks

I like the idea of red arrows because then you can show the arse holes who they are.

    • Robert Taggart

The only abuse (of position) oneself encountered all day was committed by a White Brit – male, in his twenties / thirties – at North Greenwich Emirates air Line station.

      • blindsticks

White Brit , white pikey, white traveller, white paddy, scumbag chav, mixed race, gypo…. what with all this diversity it’s a bit hard to tell these days innit. But we get people like you on every other blog there is saying they were abused by some rude white somebody. Point is matey this is still majority white Britain, and that’s only what you should expect. Still when it does come down to it at least the police arent too scared to arrest white people for being obnoxious. I know beause I’ve seen enough of it on Police ,Camera, Action. These programmes being nearly always filmed in safe white areas.
Safe in a politically correct way I mean.

      • Wilhelm

        Mr Robert Taggart

BBC boss Greg Dyke ” the BBC is hideously white.” This is anti white racism, all the more disturbing since the BBC is the state broadcaster and that’s what he thinks of the indigenous inhabitants.

Just reverse what he said and imagine if Dyke said ” Nigeria is hideously black.” he would be fired on the spot. But anti white racism gets a free pass.

        • Robert Taggart

Agreed, but, the only abuse – of position as it happened – which oneself encountered in Lundun on the day was from ‘one of our own’.

        • Sarah

Hideously white as in the face of a ghost. It’s a play on words, not a moral observation of the white race. The BBC is overwhelmingly white. Like it or not black and brown people pay the license fee too and deserve to get something from it.

          • http://twitter.com/FrenchNewsonlin FrenchNews

“…deserve to get something from it.” Education?

    • Redneck

      Wilhelm

“seems like anti white racist assaults”

You silly-billy, you know that isn’t even a real thing!

  • Wilhelm

Do any native white English actually still live in London or as I like to call it the occupied territories ?

    • Geronimo

You talk out of your backside, Wilhelm. There are plenty of whites in the nicest, greenest and most affluent parts of London. The ethnic minorities are all housed in the poorest parts, in social housing, and areas with no jobs. You need psychiatric help, mate. You have all the makings of another Anders Breivik: a deluded, paranoid, white supremacist, completely out of touch with reality. You are a disgrace.

      • Kevinc

Geronimo – Judging by the 4 or 5 rants that you’ve posted here over the last hour or so he isn’t the only one who needs psychiatric help, mate!

        • Geronimo

I think Wilhelm is frankly loopy talking about London as the occupied territories. It is overwhelmingly run by whites, who live in the most expensive areas, fill the most powerful jobs, and ensure the best for their offspring in the best schools, which are overwhelmingly white in their pupil numbers. It is simply paranoia to suggest that non-whites somehow run the show in London – or anywhere else in the UK. Wilhelm basically doesn’t like people with brown skin – and that’s a shame, because the UK is full of people from all continents who have put down roots in our country, and will continue to do so: multiculturalism and multiracialism are a fact, so get used to it. And long may these people prosper = interracial marriage and mixed-race kids are on the increase, and this can only be a good thing in terms of community cohesion. If Wilhelm is too racist to accept the presence of non-whites in the UK, he’s free to emigrate. One less vile racist to contend with.

          • Eddie

            More ignorance.
The UK is between 9% and 16% ethnic. Private schools are 20-30% ethnic.
As for professions@ well, a lot more than 9% of doctors are Asian or black mate.
Your fabricated and invented disadvantage is all just crying wolf. It simply is not true!
Multiculturalism and multiracialism are NOT accepted by the Africans and Asians for their own countries who hate people will white skin and refuse to see them as natives of those lands – yet you seem to think that’s fine, but call Wilhelm a racist for stating the same opinion. Why?
Either they are all racists or none are. Geddit now, sunshine?

          • Eddie

            • Remy

If the UK became 100% white tomorrow, in what way would it be better? Why are you so obsessed with the ethnic minority population?

              • Eddie

Remy – if you read my posts instead of the lies by the straw man arguments of the bigot racist Geronimo, then you would see I am not arguing for that.
But how about acknowledging that raciual and tribal loyalty and bigotry against those who do not share the same skin colour is standard in Africa and Asia.
I am only asking for consistency here: if a white people here who wants Britain to be all or mostly white is racist, then so are all Africans who only think someone can be an African if they’re black, or a Chinese who thinks someone can be Chinese only if they look Chinese, or an Indian who thinking anyone non-brown can never be an Indian.
The hypocrisy of that and those who cannot see it is startling really – and also racist.
As a non racist, I ap[ply the same criteria and rules to everyone, no matter what their skin colour. Shame most socalled liberals (who are anything but), self-appointed racism-detectors and moral guardians do not agree huh?

        Mr Geronimo

Do you feel better after that childish demented tantrum / rant ? I didn’t realize that Broadmoor had computers for their patients, tell me did Jimmy Saville ever pay you a visit in your padded cell ?

        • Geronimo

Ad hominem attacks, Wilhelm – classy. I guess that’s what you resort to when you can’t make a factual argument.

          • Eddie

Errr no – that’s exactly what YOU resort to all the time, accusing people of being racist for pointing out your lickspittle hypocrisy and inability to separate an analysis of the facts with your kneejerk emotive outrage and jeering at those you would like to brand ‘racist’.

      • Redneck

        Geronimo

It would therefore seem appropriate to move those, for whom you care so much, into the “affluent parts”. Yes, I see the sense there now, my apologies, it took me a while there to see your point.
So when immigrants come into the country, to facilitate their entry, we give them benefits and the most expensive housing because they are down trodden by the historical evils of Colonial Britsh Civilisation?
Ideal because I definitely would feel cleansed of my part in the collective barbarism of the Empire by making sure my tax payments go straight to those more deserving.

        Thank you.

      • Eddie

“The ethnic minorities are all housed in the poorest parts, in social housing, and areas with no jobs”
What TOTAL and UTTER bollocks, spoken by a lover of povert porn and ethnic oppression and victimhood status as promoted by the race relations and ‘equality’ industry.
Shame it has no basis in reality eh? For the purposes of your argument anyway.
PLENTY of white peopl living in poor ares; Plenty of blacks and Asians living in rich areas – in fact Kensington’s high-end pads seem mostly occupied by Arabs and Asians and African fraudsters (ie diplomats).
YET AGAIN you confuse correlation with causation. The ethnic people living in poor areas are not poor or living in such places because they are ethnic at all.
Lies lies lies from you all the time – but it wouldn’t be so bad if this were just your childish ignorant opinion; sadly, our education system and BBC and councils are run by spewers of the specious and spurious such as you.
Stop being obessed by race eh – and see people as people. And use the same criteria to judge everyone.
You are REALLY not cool to spout such bigoted idiotic ethnocentric ethnophiliac opinions you know. And so I as the son of an immigrant can say without out shame to your face: fuck off and get an education, sonny, and read some history and spend some years living surrounded by ethnics in London. Then come back in 10 years and I BET you anything you like you’ll see the error of your ways and agree with the sense that I talk.

      • Sarah

Wilhelm is Eddie’s 19th century, German alter ego.

He likes to read Russian novels and is concerned about the rise of Communism in Russia. Whereas Eddie likes to watch porn and is concerned about dying alone.

        • Eddie

Sarah is a mentalist manhating stalker who can’t read! But hey, so long as she’s got a photo of Dworkin, Greer and Julie Bindle to rub her shrivelled little vag against, she can at least pretend to be loved…
Watching porn? What’s wrong with that, you silly bint! Feminist nutters like you wallow in emotional porn all day long, as do other women with their emo-porn of Jane Austen and Downton Abbey.
And listen, love: We ALL die alone.
You are so sad you’re funny, Sarah you idiot sphincter-sucking cunny-clinger!

  • kevinc

I no longer live in London, thank God, but I remember the time when the tourists only came for a month or two in summer, were mostly charming, well-mannered Americans wearing Burberry’s, and for the rest of the year it was left to the natives. Now, with the advent of cheap flights etc, the streets are blocked every day of the year with tourists “in their packaged tens of thousands slouching miserably along our pavements” (V.S. Pritchett) and making life generally a hell. The breaking point for me came a year or two back when it took me 45 minutes to leave Notting Hill station due to a vast hoard of foreigners all simultaneously looking for “Portybelly Rood Markit”. I gleefully pointed twenty or so of them in the direction of Oxford Street by way of revenge, and never felt the slightest pang of guilt about it, though it goes vastly against character. Now safely planted in rural England my character has reverted to its old benign and helpful state, which London over the years helped to destroy.

    • Jenny

Don’t lie to your self. Your true character is to hate “foreigners” (except the Burberry wearing Yanks) that becomes all lovey dovey in the company of “natives”. At least Rod has the gall to admit being happy about fleeing the foreigners.

      • Kevinc

Thanks for telling me what my “true” character is. 50 years of expensive education, therapy and obscure literature all to no avail because you’ve brilliantly nailed it in a second.

        • Jenny

          You’re welcome!

      • Wilhelm

Jenny sweetheart, Who do you think is going to win the Great British Bake Off tonight ?

Ps. Don’t knock White Flight everyone is doing it, especially the liberals, the whole point of a university education is to have the politically correct attitude towards blacks and muslims and to live as far away as possible from them.

        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xGLmFNZ1tM

        • Jenny

Sweetheart? Which century (or planet) are you inhabiting?

          • Wilhelm

Jenny, you didn’t answer the question, darlin.

Best baker, James, John or Brenden ?

            • Geronimo

Wilhelm, the winner was white (or a “native indigenous English”, as a white supremacist like you would probably put it). You really ought to seek professional help, mate. If you honestly think white Britons are under the thumb of Muslims, blacks or any other ethnic minority, you are simply deluded. Could you tell me which blacks or Muslims are in prominent positions in government, the civil service, the law, the media, business, sport – and thereby able to oppress poor Ayran stock such as yourself, and Eddie? You are a sad case living in an echo chamber, conditioned by articles in the Daily Mail, the Telegraph, and sadly also the Spectator – none of which bear any reality to the reality of modern Britain.

              • Eddie

“Could you tell me which blacks or Muslims are in prominent positions in government, the civil service, the law, the media, business, sport – and thereby able to oppress poor Ayran stock such as yourself, and Eddie?”
False argument: most immigrants to the UK from Jamaica and from Bangldesh and Pakistan were lower class and uneducated, as are most of thie kids; most immgrants from India were middle class and professional, as are most of their kids. There are VERY few working class background white men in the higher levels of the professions too – and those people these days have to face massive sexism and racism on top of their other disadvantages (you’d call that racism and sexism ‘positive action’, no doubt).
Correlation is NOT the same as causation, fuckwit! That there are few black or Asians at the top of some professions does NOT prove that that is because of racism. In fact, a disproportionately high number of doctors, accountants and IT professionalks are ethnic, and 25% of professional footballers are black. Always a shame when one’s opinions are not backed up by facts, ain’t it, you big white blister of piffle-dribbling tit?!
How do you know I am not mixed race, you moronic hypocritical putrid speck of cunt dribble?
You seem rather obsessed with The Daily Mail – which is a middle-of-the-road but well-produced paper aimed at the vast hoardes of homely family-orientated ordinary women out there. It is not, as you seem to think in your brainwashed politically correct diversity-addled brain, the British equivalent of SS weekly y’know!
The definition of a ‘racist’ is NOT ‘someone who disagrees with you’. In fact, as we have proven with evidence that you are racist in that you judge people by differing standards according to their skin colour, it would seem that disagreeing with you – a known racist – is more likely to prove a lack of racism really. QED.

                • WoodstockWastrel

‘putrid cunt dribble’- please knock it on the head Eddie, some of us are going for some lunch in a bit.

                • Eddie

Sorry. I should have said ‘putrid cunny-dribble’ maybe?- I was trying to be a bit Anglo-saxon or Tolkein-ian, but ended up more ‘Embarrassing Bodies’ and STI clinic…

                • WoodstockWastrel

Its actually an old Norse word and I don’t think Bilbo Baggins ever used it.

                • Eddie

You are unfamiliar then with the X-rated version? I won’t even mention what Gandalf does to Bilbo Baggins in that one…
Of course, Tolkein cobbled together his Elvish words from old Welsh and Anglo-Saxon – but I was actually thinking of the way the hobbits use ‘coney’ for ‘rabbit’ – which was the usual word until the puritans of the 17th century decided that coney sounded too like cunny so changed it to ‘rabbit’. (Ditto for ‘ass’ which became ‘donkey’)…

                • Sarah

“and those people have to face massive sexism,” etc.

Aye it’s massively tough having only 100% of the top schools and 80% of the top positions to choose from. They did so much better when they hobbled their competition completely and didn’t let 2 in 10 slip through the net.

      • Eddie

To be fair, anyone who expresses the desire for Britain to be kept all or mainly white, is merely just expressing the same opinion as ALL Africans (who want all Africans to be black), ALL Chinese (who only consider Chinese-looking people to be Chinese) and ALL Indians (who as the Raj shows do not believe whites can be Indian). So why not call them racist too then eh?
Me, I don’t mind SOME immigration – but when a whole area or city becomes more black than white, and when all natives have to flee the invasion, then that is sad and wrong. I lived in several parts of London – north London and southand west: the first two parts were maybe 50% ethnic, which is a lot but not as much as some parts (Southall 90% non-white…). And of coursem the incomers largely refuse to integrate and instead want to impose their values on us and demand that we change: that is not immgration; that is colonisation!
I do not want London to become 60% non-white, but due to selfish stupid politicians’ policies, it soon will be. And yes, it does matter – just ask an African, Chinese or Indian is they mind is their countries become maybe 50% white. They won’t even accept 10% white!

        • Geronimo

You ignorant prick. Are you honestly saying Asians in Southall lay down the law like the British did in colonial India? WHat exactly do these Asians in Southall impose on the white neighbours, and expect them to do – convert to Hinduism, become vegetarian, go in for arranged marriage? All you do is make sweeping generalisations and provoke, but you have sod all evidence to back it up. And do you reckon Africans might have a point not being keen on white colonists, given the track record of white colonisers in South Africa, the DRC and Kenya, to name but three countries where the white man exterminated any blacks who dared stand up for equal rights?

          • WoodstockWastrel

I lived on a narrowboat in Southall for several months and was forced to eat several more courses than I needed at many of those curry houses. I was also shocked to discover an almost complete lack of women in the bars except for the strippers.

          • Eddie

Listen love – if you are going to try and insult people then at least have the manners to try and do so with just a wee bit of wit and intelligence. The ignorance is yours alone.
You are clearly ignorant about how most peoples under British rule supported it because they benefited from it. After all, what would most of India be without the British who created it, introduced the rule of law, stability, industry, fair play, and tea as well as (with other whities) foodstuffs like chilli, potatoes and tomatoes?
The British empire replaced brutal dictators in Africa and Asia and was generally benevolent and positive – if you read any history, you’d know that.
My point was that most Africans do not consider anyone non-black to be capable of being African; most Indians would never consider a white-faced person Indian; and most Chinese would not consider anyone who didn’t look Chinese as Chinese, even if they and their grandparents had been born there.
Ergo, by the standards lickspittle liberals use to condemn anyone in Europe who complains when their home city has been swamped by swarthy hordes as WAY-CIST – you have to acknowledge that that makes most people in Africa, Asia and China racist too, non? Be consistent sonny and use the same token to judge all in a non-racist way – you are being racist by using lower standards to judge dark-skinned peoples by. Now THAT is racist.
Immigrants integrate and accept the values and ways of their adopted culture – many now want ti impose their values on us: and that my dimwitted hysterical fatuous friend is colonisation, NOT immigration.
My own father was an immigrant so I need no self-righteous pompous ignorant arse with a ploytechnic degree in ‘multicultural studies and diversity worship’ to lecture me about any of this.
And also, I used to work near Southall – a place which is 90% non-white and which with very Asian Hounslow provides most staff for Heathrow (you work there if you’re Asian and too thick to be a doctor..) That’s why landing there feels like arriving at Karachi sometimes…
Now go away and read some history, fool. Then you’d learn how British public opinion in the 19th century stopped the brutal atrocities in the Congo: the British empire from the 17th and early 18th centuries on had a moralising mission, and was NOT just about plunder (unlike all Asian and African empires). There are VERY few blacks who ever stood up for ‘equal rights’ – and if you asked them if white and gay people desrved equal rights in Africa, I think you’d get a shock…

            • Geronimo

why do you say WAY-CIST? i bet you say peecee too, and elf n safety too – doesn’t add much to the discussion. inexplicable, but it does show you read a lot of Littlejohn. “my own father was an immigrant”, you say. i bet some of your best friends are black, too! what a cretin.

              • Eddie

                Bigot.
                Racist.
                Twerp!
Nothing I have said is in ANY WAY racist; by contrast, your insistence on judging white people and black/asian people using different standards is racism laid bare.
We non-racists judge all people using the same criteria – we do not treat black or brown people less or more favourably.

              • Hexhamgeezer

Gerry baby – I loved your forensic. pointy by point dismantling of Eddie’s post.

                • Eddie

You are seeing things, mate – but then you’re probably an ignorant racist tit like Geronimo really eh?
The forensic demolition was what I applied to Gerry: he calls every white person who objects to hoardes of browns and blacks coming her as racist; if so, he has to -by the same token – call black Africans who think Africans can only be black as racist, and Indians who think Indians can only be brown as racist, and Chinese who think all Chinese have to look Chinese as racist. If he did that, he would be consistent – but he doesn’t. What he does is apply different standards to people according to the colour of their skin – ergo, Geronimo is racist.
Now THAT is an example of a forensic point-by-point demolition of an ignorant tit’s argument, sonny.

                • Hexhamgeezer

                  Eddie,
I was being sarastic. I was agreeing with you. Only a blind person could look at Ggerry’s post and call it forensic.
Anyways – I’ve learnt my lesson. Do not agree or comment on Eddie.
                  Tit

Well how can one idenify irony like that? Especially after a bottle of red!
Irony don’t work always on these message boards…There is no tone of voice or expression, so a post intended to be ironic can read hexactly like one by Geronimo!

I had a disturbing dream last week, well, it was more like a terrifying nightmare , my whole street went all black. I was the only white person living there. Very unsettling.

African immigration has just started in my neighbourhood. I can visualize that my area will be all black within 10 years, they’ve got extremely high birth rates, I’ve got to start making plans for White Flight.

” When an area reaches a tipping point, whites don’t hang about, they get up and leave and do White Flight, birds of a feather flock together ” as the eloquent Jared Taylor explains.

Wilhelm, I’m sure your black neighbours will be delighted to be rid of a nasty, paranoid, laughable bigot. Good luck in the home counties, and sweet dreams. May your sleep be filled with lily white little baa lambs and turtle doves. Bless.

        • Eddie

“I’m sure your black neighbours will be delighted to be rid of a nasty, paranoid, laughable bigot.”
Well they’re probably nasty paranoid laughable bigots too – gay-hating religious maniacs who hate white people, anyone from another ethnic group as them, and anyone who dares criticise their religion.
I have to say that black and Asian people are generally way more bigoted than white people these days – yet you seem to think that’s OK. Why?
Ah I see – they’re not white! That means you don’t apply the same rules to them as for white people. Therefore, you are a racist in your inconsistent approach – because someone’s skin colour and background affects what standards you apply to their behaviour and attitudes.
You just can’t see it, can you?
          Racist twerp!
If you want to be non-racist like me, then start applying the same rules and standards to everyone irrespective of their skin colour. OK?

          • JohnJohngerard

There’s an episode of ‘Love Thy Neighbour’ where the black character is dead against more blacks moving into the street as it will make the value of his house go down…I’m sure he ‘won’ the episode in the end, or maybe the wives did. That’s usually what happened…

        • Eddie

I should make it clear that by natives I meant people who live in London – a perfectly acceptable term which has nothing to do with the colour of one’s skin but which as usual has been misinterpreted by those with a desperate need to be offended by the words and deeds of others.

      • Eddie

So, if I lived in Shanghai would I be a native of Shanghai and Chinese then too? Hmmm…. Tricky one, int’it? But if one is consistent according to your criteria, then yes, I would be.

    • Eddie

Oh London is great to visit – treat the place like a playground where one can have great shops, clubs etc and wonderful museums and places of interest.
But to LIVE there? In some ethnic area with chicken and chip shops, overpriced rancid convenience stores ripping one off, and non-stop mugging, no thanks!
Living in the provinces has its disadvantages (though outweighed by the many advantages) – the biggest is that so many people in them are so parachial in their ways, even educated and so-called middle clas persons, for example academics. I know several who teach withing a stone’s throw of where they grew up – they’ve never lived overseas as I have, never lived in different parts of the country as I have, and have a very narrow parachial view of life.
Geronimo is one such idiot – if he lived abroad a bit he’d realise what an ignorant twat he is.
Tourists are fine though even if many are bumpkins. Have patience!

  • stearl33

I suppose the number drop has nothing to do with the fact that households all over Europe (and America) are broke? When was the last time you saw a Greek tourist?

  • Baron

Many, many years ago when Britain was still a barbaric country what with capital punishment but no positive discrimination on the statute books, no rainbow MC or PC and things, well, actually only about 160 years ago, there was another major show in London for the world to applaud, admire, hold in respect – the Great Exhibition in Hyde Park. It was a hugely successful enterprise promoting industry and commerce rather than running, swimming, throwing, and as Bill Bryson says in ‘At Home” (highly recommended) it ‘cleared a profit of £186,000, enough to buy thirty acres of land just south of Hyde Park where were built the great museums that still dominate the neighborhood today – the Royal Albert Hall, the Victoria & Albert museum, the Natural History Museum….’ attracting millions of tourist each year…

How much money then has the last ‘sporting’ jamboree cleared, what will it buy so that the generation living around 2150 will admire it, thank us for it?

    • Laurence

Baron, an excellent point and an excellent post.

    • HolyJolene

Ah yes, the Great Exhibition, planned for with great organizational chutzpah during the same period that a million British subjects starved to death in Ireland in the face of organizational indifference.

      • Hexhamgeezer

Aye – the Catholic Church has a lot to answer for

        • Antoine

          Huh?

Any news on how many ‘Olympians’ went home?
