With a heavy heart Mr Steerpike must be the bearer of bad of news. James Delingpole, of this parish, has ruled himself out of the running in the Corby by-election for UKIP or any other party.

In light of the growing Draft Delingpole campaign, he told me this afternoon:

‘After much thought: No. I want to spend more time taking drugs with my millionaire rock band manager wife.’

Bring on the the Euro elections 2014.

An utter tool. Is he? Have you read his book? Well argued and informative, even if you don’t subscribe to the argument. An utter tool. Hmmm. I imagine, nancledra, that it would not add much to anyone’s experience to know you in private life. What’s it like actually to be you? Do tell.

Aw, bless you, Mark. Of course I haven’t read a single one of his books. Who has? Anyway, you don’t seem terribly happy. Maybe we should hang out together.

So you base your opinions on no knowledge of the subject at all. Oh I see you’re a British politician
