More ‘colourful language’ from Boris Johnson today. Interviewed by the BBC about his reported attempts to secure
sponsorship from News International while they were being investigated for phone hacking, he dismissed the claims as ‘f***ing b****cks’. Here, courtesy of Political Scrapbook, is the (censored) video:

F bomb? What century or country are you living in? F has long since stopped being a bomb. C maybe, but not F.

  • PJH

maturecheese – I think you’ll find they have put Ken under scrutiny. Perhaps you’re choosing not to listen?
The bigger issue is that the media and commentariat are focusing on language and not issues.

  • canonalberic

Shocking isnt it. Ms Toksvig can call one a **** and its apparently hilarious but a Tory close to beating a sinister creep like Livingstone and we’re back at Sunday School.

The bias of the BBC is not a joke or an irrational obsession of cryptofacists but a clear and present danger to our democratic processes.

  • BlueonRed

Outrageous bias from the BBC. When are we going to get a channel to support our views? In the meantime we have to pay pay for the other lot’s propaganda machine!

  • Fergus Pickering

    Abso-fucking-lutely!

Hello! I am an adult as are 99.9% of those who visit this site, why have you censored this video?

Boris is human, we are all humans and we will not all have an attack of the vapours on hearing the ‘F’ word.

  • Viv Evans

Gawd, what a mealy-mouthed lot they are at Al Beeb!

So Boris uses ‘colourful language’ – who knew!

  • anyfool

That will be worth a couple of percentage points on thursday.

Seems that Donovan is a bit of a big girl’s blouse…

  • Archimedes

How can the BBC claim to be politically neutral when they employ chumps like Donovan? His interview with Kit Malthouse yesterday was appallingly biased and he clearly revels in any opportunity to stick it to the Tories whilst pretending that his opinion is balanced.

  • daniel maris

Er – that wasn’t Boris’s finest moment. I think he’s intricately connected to the Murdoch gang isn’t he – via Elizabeth Murdoch or something like that.

  • Robert Eve

    Spot on Woody!!

  • In2minds

What a creepy little thing she in the studio is, horrible!

  • Dimoto

Woody – couldn’t agree more, but who is responsible for that ?

Oh yes, Mr smirky, sit-on-his-hands bloody useless Jeremy Hunt !

  • Woody

I guessed it might be a BBC interview, they really are an absolute disgrace.
If there should be an enquiry about anything, it should be this organisation and their sanctimonious, biased reporting.

  • Nick B

Whop are these losers? Daytime TV? Are they aware they are speaking into a void. I suggest these BBC “reporters” get some work experience in a school playground. Perhaps then they could learn some “colourful language” with which to describe their own style of reporting.

  • Publius

    Good for Boris.

As for the BBC’s “colourful language” – what prissy twats they are.

Remind me, what scrutiny has the BBC put Red Ken under?
